Integrative Physiotherapy

Integrative Physiotherapy is a physiotherapeutic approach that treats health disorders in a holistic way, addressing the emotional, mental, and physical aspects of the patient.

In my work I use:

  • Psychophysical practices for regulating the autonomic nervous system and modulating stress responses in the central nervous system (yoga, meditation, and physiotherapy)

  • Manual therapies (massage therapy, mobilizations and fascia work)

  • Therapeutic products (aromatherapy, herbal medicine and neurosupplementation)

  • Devices that stimulate or inhibit the nervous and/or muscular system (TENS, FES, vagus nerve stimulation by taVNS, non-invasive neuromodulation by tDCS and others)

As a specialist in behavioral neuroscience, my work is based on the most current knowledge in neuroscience, and I specialize in psychophysical disorders (which bring both physical and psychological symptoms), such as anxiety, insomnia, burnout, menopausal symptoms, postpartum symptoms, urinary incontinence, chronic pain, myofascial disorders, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, hypermobility syndrome, dysautonomia and autonomic dysfunction, among others.

Integrative Neuroscience

Health is the result of a balance between body and mind, which, in turn, comes from good brain function, because

THE BRAIN IS THE BRIDGE

Between Body and Mind.

Integrative Neuroscience is the application of neuroscience knowledge to practical life to improve physical and mental health. I apply and teach neuroscience to improve well-being and health holistically, following the

Bridge Method of Integrative Neuroscience®.

Come and discover how you can use your nervous system to your advantage, managing or even eliminating negative stress, anxiety, pain, fatigue, and other disorders!

Neuroscience shows that the brain bridges the gap between body and mind. Everything that happens in the mind reverberates in the body and vice versa. Body and mind are two aspects of a single unit: the person.

Each person is a mind-body unit; they are not two separate things. The body is the more concrete aspect of the mind, and the mind is the more subtle aspect of the body.

In the Bridge Method of Integrative Neuroscience® , the person is treated holistically, integrating physical and mental aspects using neuroscience, in order to achieve balance and health in an integral way.
